The devotional is meant to complement a congregational discernment process spanning two weeks, beginning on any given Sunday. Over this two-week span, congregants will also become familiarized with parallelism, metaphor, simile, while closely reading and reflecting on biblical poetry.

A sample schedule is included beneath the introduction of the devotional, giving congregational leaders a jump start on the planning process.
